Q: How did you find out about the Windy Pandas and who/what made you join the team?
A: AJet tried to convince me to come for months but I was usually in bed nursing a tsq hangover on a Saturday morning. He finally convinced me to come on Panda Day and I’ve never looked back.
Q: How is your experience so far? Is it what you expected? or not at all…
A: Having a really good time so far, enjoying the company of the Pandas on and off the boat.
Q: What are your goals/objectives with joining the Windy’s?
A: Goals are to get fit, win medals but most importantly have a good time.
Q: What are your likes and dislikes about Dragon Boating??
A: Likes – G7s
Dislikes – all other generations
Just kidding, a lot of of love for all Pandas old and new.
Q: How is your technique coming along?
A: Still a lot to learn here!
Q: What are your fondest memory so far? Any interesting stories to tell?
A: Getting shouted at by Paul for poor tekkers – he has so far called me ‘number 3’ and my personal favourite ‘chi’
Q: Who’s your favourite Panda whom you didn’t know before you joined the team and why?
A: Cheryl, because she’s Northern too (she tries to get me out every Saturday)
Q: Any advice for those that are looking to take up the sport?
A: Don’t be late or you’ll be dunked.

A: I should have listened to her more when I was growing up.

A:A pilot so I could travel the World. My dream is still alive…

A:Once told my friend we were going to a fancy dress party when in fact it was just a normal Saturday … He turned up in a full pirate costume…
